Read somewhere that the yank looking design is precisely because they intend selling in banjo land...... Looks like a love child between a wannabe Dodge Ram and a Ford Fiesta. The looks will no doubt grow on us all
A corner of my your cheque book will do for me should you win.Very nice, all I need is a winning ticket in tomorrow's lottery..

Does anyone remember the Ford Scorpio, the "wide mouthed frog".Read somewhere that the yank looking design is precisely because they intend selling in banjo land...... Looks like a love child between a wannabe Dodge Ram and a Ford Fiesta. The looks will no doubt grow on us all
Yes, the marketing men described the headlights as "the jewels of the front of the car" - they didn't even believe it themselves. However it did develop into Ford's very successful "edge design"Does anyone remember the Ford Scorpio, the "wide mouthed frog".
Even the head of Ford in Britain described it as "a marketing challenge". It did not last long.

I think the new Transit looks narrow, may not be but it looks like it is.
It is, it's a global design the bonnet has to accommodate a V6 petrol for the States. It looks a bit 'American' in the styling department in my opinion.
