Decided now (well not exactly now but in the hopefully near future) is the right time for us to buy our first motorhome - although we've lusted after them for a few years. Husband just lost his job (for at least a year) so we have a great opportunity to hit the road. Years ago we looked at VW conversions and then VW California and really liked the California but now thinking it's a bit too small so focussed on VW California Grand (600) or the Mercedes Hymper Sprinter - but open to other suggestions with similar layouts (toilet/shower). We only need one big bed and we'd like a pop up roof. Grateful for any advice.

Well it's your home, we can't help much. Just remember you have to live in it when it's raining cats and dogs.

Personally these VW pop tops seem way over priced compared to the accommodation you get in a C class MH.

I have no idea what a C class is. I will try and find out. It's all gobbledy gook to me just now.
