On my previous van you could remove a large circular access door to get at the float switch etc but the new one doesn’t seem to want to budge. The previous one You lined up 2 arrows to remove. On the new one there aren’t any arrows which makes me wonder if the new ones don’t have this facility.

No you just turned it anti clockwise until the 2 arrows lined up and it came apart. It was quite hard to do but it was made to come apart

Mines a new one (swivel bowel) it has one arrow and a solid & open dot to mark open & closed. I thought the 2 arrows were on the bench ones to denote left or right handed the swivel bowel isn't handed.
