Hello Phil, welcome to fun, lots of possibilities for a motorhome , make sure that it's comfortable enough for you to spend time in if the weather gets rainy. Use the forum for research , there is a very good solo section where like minded solos can chat.
Well worth the £15 for the information and discounts available.

For a single traveller a PVC, Panel Van Conversion would be big enough and very easy to live with. They are surprisingly expensive, especially the VW ones.

For similar money you can get a coachbuilt usually specified as 4 berth and live in luxury. A bit harder to park and more thirsty on fuel.

There is no easy answer, but you have a good idea what to look for.
