    They do get a bit boring don't they JJ. I sometimes wish something would go wrong, just so I could attempt to fix it. I should have stuck with those RVs :rofl:

    I noticed in my most recent trip to France, a lot of real old rustbuckets, belching smoke, around. Does France have an MOT test?

    Mine passed a few days ago, but it was so obviously a certain pass that I couldn't be arsed to post about it !!!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

    True.......So what happened to your engine?? Hun from the sun at angels 15 sent you a Blighty one, and stopped the old Merlin dead.....OR, did it just stop rotating???:):)

    It used 4 litres of oil in 180 miles. Then sounded like a bag of chisels in a large shredding machine, but not for long. To be fair, it was 35 years old and had done several hundred thousand miles. The old style O-ring valve stem oil seals had, apparently, long since rotted away.
