Motorhome heating

Can anyone help with this enquiry
While having heating on (blown air ) I end up with a dry and sore throat
Any sensible help would be very much appreciated

I think probably just drinking water, little and often, will help.

Would obviously be even more beneficial with a wee dram added to make it more palatable.

Can't help with a remedy but is also a worry of ours once we get the MoHo I know folks on here use alternative heating at night, perhaps a small oil filled radiator. I am sure the more experienced will be along soon to help.

Sensible replies are in short supply at the minute, but I never run heating of any description when in my playpen. I prefer a good quality duvet.

The trouble at the moment is we are on our way down to Spain and ( wa are using diesel rather than expensive electric) the site is charging .48c for 1 kW
So oil filled rad would work in UK . But I don't think here !!

We have a wood burning stove at home and always have a coffee pot of water simmering away on the top of it to stop dry eyes, perhaps a saucer of water near a vent might help you? May be worth a try?

To be honest I seldom put my gas powered only blown air on even at a low setting within 15 mins it's enough but of course it doesn't stay warm.
I have a 500 watt DeLonghi oil filled rad and it's perfectly warm enough,no dry throat and at night if it's chilly just set the thermostat to a low setting to keep the chill off when getting up.
Small,silent,lightweight I find it the perfect solution.

Same here but it would be nice to have a warm loo in the middle of the night..BUSBY.

Yep......if possible (spills !) Place a bowl/dish below each air duct.
the warm blown air passing over the dish will pull a little water vapour into the airflow.

Works in reverse too if its too warm.
cool blown air passing over chilled water should cool the air further....some mh aircon systems works by this method.

And of course you're going to kick the bowl over.....i never said i was foolproof.

As Gordon said, electric is very expensive in Spain, so gas would be a much cheaper alternative. And it has been really cold in the mornings, approx 2 degrees
Like the idea of a good duvet, perhaps a hot water bottle?

I have never had the heating on over night. I do wear my socks and fleecy top and bottom. No matter how cold it is the answer for us is always more clothes.
