Motorhome confusion. (1 Viewer)

I,m surprised no one has referred to theirs being called "The Bus" especially people with large tag axle A Classes, or indeed those with RV,s. It would sound great down the pub to say something like, We are taking The Fun Bus through France next year, or even we will be using The Tour Bus at the earliest opportunity.

Ours is called the snoozer cruiser. It is so old it only cruises . And I snooze a lot. Yes we are strange. I get a few comments , but I do not care because I am weird.

Ours is transgender, the transformation is complete. The previous owner called it Oscar, we've called her Portia. Often, we call her "the van". Sometimes, when she won't start, the heating doesn't work, the habitation lock won't lock, etc etc etc, we call her "fu****g pile of steaming horse sh*t!!!"

When folk ask what type of mh we have I answer by its a Hitlers revenge, or we just call it the MH or the van ,the expression Hitlers revenge comes of our trusty Mercedes-Benz/hobby1983 model with a 5 cylinder 3liter motor and so far covered 410000 and is strong as a horse ,regards AlfandM.

Ours is called tonto an autotrail Cheyenne so tonto seemed appropriate. We also have a sheep called daisy and a dragon called drago in the cab keeping an eye out for the cowboys on our trips

I did quite a lot of that on my sailing yacht in the Aegean for many years - quite successfully, but mostly longer tem than the rest of the definition.
