I subscribe to MMM and this morning received in the post the October edition which is priced at £5.25 ,[ subscribers pay less ]. This afternoon I was clearing out one of my sheds and found a box with old copies of MMM. The oldest copy was June 2010 which was priced at £3-50p and had 322 pages . On checking the magazine that arrived today I noticed that it has 162 pages so virtually half as many pages as in 2010.
I also subscribe to Practical Motorhome and the April 2010 edition cost £3-80p and contained 178 pages. The October 2021 edition has 148 pages the subscribers edition doesn't have a price printed on it so not sure what it costs in the shops.
Looks like MMM has gone the same way as Wagon Wheels.

And how many are repeat stories ? :)

Two years ago they had an average 110 full-page adverts in each issue. There are very few advertisers right now because no one has anything to sell. Hopefully, things will get better next year.

Get Readly online and you get as many magazines including mmm Practical Motorhome and the Scottish MoHo mags plus caravan, photography and loads of others for £8.00 per month.
bea5 you to it Jim😉😉

68 in the latest MMM .

Two years ago they averaged around 120 full-pages of adverts an issue. The present climate with dealers having little to sell has seen that drop by two thirds. I think we'll have another year of this at least. Then the advertising will come back with a bang and MMM will regain the weight it has lost.

Download Readly at https://get.readly.com/V2pRZFk5WU9PRGdqQUJIdTpjbVZtWlhKZllWOW1jbWxsYm1SZllXMWhlbTl1WHpJd01qRT0=
and we both get one month free and £20 Amazon voucher
I joined this week and got 2 months free, it really does have the mags listed by Otter Spotter and hundreds if not thousands more with back issues. I've cancelled my MMM and Practical Motorhome.
This looks interesting, can you say how much the ongoing subscription is?

It should be named camper van monthly as a lot of reviews are done in a van conversion, and places they visit you can’t get a motorhome in

Now have just cancelled my subscription

I get 'PressReader' free through my local library. I've cancelled several subscriptions and now read online.

As a bonus, I can read them when I'm away without needing to carry loads of paper-based product.

Thats a good observation. I have often thought that. There writers all seem to have little vans. One even has a Mazda Bongo. That's not even a campervan. They have asked for volunteer writers in the past. I don't think there is much money in it and you would have to retired/rich to even start to produce one per month.

To be honest I don't read the travel articles unless its a really interesting area....which it rarely is. They don't mention where they stayed or anything motorhome related. Just blather on about museums and ducks normally and are as dull as ditch water. They could do with recruiting Northernraider (Tam) to do an article or two. Liven things up a bit.

Saying all that, I am always excited when it drops though the letterbox but I am not sure why

I use Pressreader as above. Lots of magazines and newspapers for free. It does depend on your library, but ours also does digital book borrowing and audio books as well. As an example see Suffolk here https://www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/services/pressreader
and even films and music https://www.suffolklibraries.co.uk/

Cheers

Another vote for Readily, l subscribed to it when Jim promoted it last year. A reminder that other family members can tag onto your subscription,it’s what they call a no brainier at £7.99 per month.

Buy a subscription to Readly for IPad or Kindle £7.99 per month and you get both plus 1000s of other mags. No problems with storage and you can bookmark pages To go back to anytime, what’s not to love 👍🏻

Take away the adverts and re-hashed travelogues and there is very little actually about motorhomes. Most of the reviews of new models are better shown on YouTube and presented by the same journalist.

Far too expensive now for the amount of content in my opinion.

Subscribe to both 3Ms and practical motorhome, but have Readly too, as I have a doblo camper too was interested in the camper magazine glad I didn’t buy it same articles as in the other mags and very few about small campers mostly pvcs and VWs and they have their own mag nothing but travel and ads. Will be cancelling my subscriptions, although i do like having physical mags, I can get some bits i want for the vans with the money i save.
