Moselle valley, good places ? , advice appreciated

Hi guys & girls , am in the top of Luxembourg just now & am heading over to the Moselle valley ( Germany) tomorrow
We are looking for good places to visit & park any help appreciated, regards kenny & Tracy

Doubt we will catch up with you , we are off next weekend, starting with the French Moselle bIt, then the German Mosel

Anywhere along the moselle is good, lots of stellplatz, sarburg, trier, riel all nice places

Did a week in the mosel loads of stellplatz as Jimbo says gets a bit scarcer towards Koblenz. Preferred between Trier and Cochem. Visit Burg Eltz smashing castle...

That is my current location at Kinheim. Zell is another of my regulars, there are two options there. Tomorrow I will probably move to Minheim.

We like Minnheim too and Zell. Bernkastel Kues and Cochem worth a visit. Both have motorhome parking by the hour.

Traben Trabach is a nice stop. Zell is our favourite. Saarburg was nice.

We found 3 places in Zell all on the river. One is by the road bridge just off the roundabout and seemed ok.
We stayed next to the footbridge .. you basically park on the access road to the campsite. It’s quiet and chilled.
Or you could stay in the campsite with facilities.

My main issue with campsites isn’t really the cost it’s being told where to park. I think I must have an issue with authority ?.

Where did you say in Traben ... we were disappointed with the town and kept wondering if we’d missed the best bit ?. Wasn’t helped that they seemed to have a rubbish collection issue when we were there.

Was in that very place last week the castle is worth seeing, we headed to Koblenz after there enjoy ?

Glad you enjoyed it had a great week touring the mosel will definitely be back..
If you have a dog we used the vet address below 6 euro i supplied the worming tablet..Close to Burg Eltz.
