Hi.
I want to track down what this relay would be for? Purple socket is empty.
This is under the fusebox in glovebox MK2, 1999 Ducato 230.

Many thanks.

Stick a relay in it and see what happens... Probably nothing.
There will be any number of plugs going nowhere depending on model.
They will make one harness and only use what's needed on a particular model rather than loads of different model specific harnesses..

I hear you but this is the first relay I have seen vacant. On a related note will my 230 2.5tdi have electrical sensor/connection from accelerate pedal to ECU? Seeing as it is otherwise a physical cable? A 2.8 engine user found a dry joint/plug that was causing his CODE light to illuminate?

2.5tdi will be a mechanical injector pump with a cable... Not a 'fly by wire' throttle.
The 2.8 would have been a JTD common rail engine.
