My present microwave was from Amazon, but the one before was Tesco own brand. If its got a heavy glass turntable, remove it before driving, as the twisting forces on cornering can break the bit that turns it which is usually pretty flimsy plastic. Its a 600w model and runs fine from the inverter.

Getting better month by month.
It is an electronic box that converts your 12 V DC battery power into 230 V AC so you can run electrical appliances, like microwaves.

Hi Matt
Briefly, to run your microwave, you need to be plugged in to the campsite's electric. You will hear folk on here talking about 'EHU' (Electrical Hook Up). You simply plug your motorhome's 240v lead into a 'bollard' on the site (making sure that you plug the lead into the motorhome first, then the bollard!).
If you're not sure about any of these electrical issues, ask on here or at a campsite. Don't mess with the electric!
As stated by Zigisla above, an inverter is a different method of powering a microwave or other gizmo's like hair driers.
