MEKRA Mirrors

Going down the road this afternoon when an artic crossed the centre line and took out our offside mirror. On the nearside cover the numbers are Mekra 010524 - does anyone know where we can get a complete mirror?

It's a 2003 Euramobil A Class tag axle (think it's a 690 HL). Located in Kent.

Ours broke a couple of years ago just Google Mekra UK. very helpful company knowledgable helpful staff, told us exactly what we needed had it in the post a couple of days later cost about £27 for the part we needed.

You could also check brownhills of Newark who still carry a lot of hymer spares. Look on eBay under hymer spares or Mekra.
Another possibility is www.ebay.de where you might find a second hand one for sale cheaper.

found a manual unheated on flea bay same size will do so we can get away and give me time to source right one and then have a spare

I've just taken delivery of a complete new set of Mekra mirrors for Udo following a mild fracas with a caravan the last time I drove him.

If you go to Mekra's UK site, you can download a full brochure. From that, I found the mirrors needed (bearing in mind Udo is 23 years old, Mekra still make them and mine were OE fitment on MAN trucks) and the part numbers.

Looking further, I found a UK distributor called Picksons. I dealt with a really helpful chap called Matthew and I'd recommend anyone call him on 01454 311848.
