Janine this IS the bank holiday weekend. According to the gov.uk website the bank holiday is Monday 25th May.

Unfortunately it doesn't give us enough time between my birthday bash in the West Country to get home, change over and drive to the other side of the country.

Officially Friday the 22nd to Monday the 25th of May..
I say officially as a lot of folk arrive days early and leave days late !!!

I shall be making the announcement and taking booking when we get back from Spain in March

Music by our own bands !

£10.00 per head for the whole weekend

Optional meals Friday night ( fish and chip supper ) and Sunday dinner( roast )

Usual lunacy included the ever popular moped racing !! ( for those that do not know, I supply the peds.. They are somewhat smaller than the norm and are not exactly the fastest things on two wheels

All monies raised will go to Air Ambulance

Being fairly local I always wanted to go to the Thetford bash but it always coincides with something else. Next year a family wedding in Ibiza. Do you think they could change the wedding dates?

I shall contact every one who is interested and will also be pushing it a bit on the main forum sections when the time comes

Tickets will go on sale about the end of March / beginning of April

The kiddy car with the trailer is now ready to go as is of course the dreaded push bike..
Friday night will be as is tradition, Fish and chip supper ( orders will be taken but pay the club on the day )
The Novelty candle will be called upon to do its duty at the charity auction on Saturday night ( as usual ! ), Sunday lunch is being organised by the Rugby club ( orders will be taken but you pay on the day )
A suggested walk will be to hand for those without motorcycles while the bikers do their ride out on Saturday morning
Sunday is as usual all the silly games including ( if you fancy it ) the chance to race a wickedly fast ( welllllll.. 10 to 15mph ) moped against others of a similar ability ( I have three but if anyone knows of an old moped that is either free or exceedingly cheap I can get busy with the gas axe and cut it down to match the three in the paddock already !!! )

Eating contest ( involves sherbet dabs )
Wobble rolling ( team game !! I am saying no more )
trailer reversing ( with a pedal car )
