We are going to Manchester to watch a match at the Etihad. We will have the car with us. Is anyone able to recommend somewhere to stay with the van (8.6m) in or near to Manchester? We only know of Burrs Country Park at the moment.

@Lazyboy if you stay at burrs you can get the tram to etihad and back

Burrs is about the best shout. We have looked all over for when visiting our son. It can work out cheaper to use holiday inn or similar

seen one parked up locally in coronation street and its close to the tram station

You can park on the pub near us they are or used to be in britstops
The Duke of York Romiley Stockport Cheshire
20 mins on train to piccadilly train station then 10 mins on the tram to the ground

Stay at Burrs and use the trams

On paper you will be faew miles away...in practice the trams are the mist “joined up” ways to get around

If you’re back late evening at the tram stop, I think it was about £6 or £7 cab fare back to the site
