Hello

Looking at getting a sensor for gas level on LPG bottle and have seen ‘mopeka’ and ‘rotarex dimes’ … anyone got one and what are your thoughts .. thanks.

Had mopeka for a few yrs now no problems with refilables or calor butane or propane. Some have battery life problems but ajust refresh rate to extend life. Occasionally moves and get spurious results. Generally happy, definitely happier than without.

Mopeka works fine for me too. I have just one refillable bottle. If I had two I might not have bothered with it.
Never run out yet, fingers crossed.

I've got a Mopeka and a underfloor tank. It won't stay on, or at least I don't trust it. But it does work otherwise, but it's not alot of use to me.

My Mopeka is mostly fine but sometimes seems to drop to close to zero when I know it's nowhere near. Normally corrects itself after a few minutes though and as I check it regularly I generally know when the "correct" reading is being displayed.

For the price of a mopeka ,and if on a budget I would rather have a second bottle attached, ie. Calor and use that as a back up.untill you refill the refillable.

Has anyone fitted the mopeka to a 13kg LPG cylinder, as it looks like it only lists 11, 12, 14 Kg bottles.
