Hi guys
We have a Hymer BML I 790 had from new.
This has now been going since new in 2022 EHTW are try to wipe there hands on it.
Basically unable to use the TV off grid!
The TV in the bedroom works.
There loads of other issues EHTW are trying to ignore, there for another day.

So the TV actually works but not where you want it to? That suggests that wherever you plug it into isn't either providing power or aerial signal ( you don't say in what way it isn't working) - can you confirm in what way it isn't working and are you using it in a different manner, IE streaming as opposed to live TV ?

What make/model of TV and how are you powering it ? Plugged into a 12v ciggy lighter type outlet ?

Morning…
Turn it on and a message appears
Then it shuts down…..does it with no hook up, batteries fully charged.

Have you tried using a a different lead to the tv from another power point.
The low voltage could be due to a too thin cable or just a bad connection where you plug the tv in.
If your using a plug in adaptor check if its getting warm when the tv is on.

The make and model of TV would be helpful as that's an interesting internal message from the TV itself. Also as others are saying, how are you getting the power to it?

Hi
We have a Mli780, same age. Ours was doing this but only when I put the airfryer or kettle on at the same time. However, it never does it when just using the TV.

Colin changed the earth clamp, he cannot say for sure that this was the problem, but as well as generally tightening various connections, it seemed to work.

My Alphatronic 12v TV used to put up a message saying low voltage before shutting down.
Turned out one of the two gel batteries had failed.
Since changed to lithium and no problem now

I had to fit a bigger diameter feed wire to the tv point I had installed

Stans Van do you have the so called "autonomy pack"?

We had loads of problems with ours shortly after we bought it, at 2 years old. After much head scratching, trial and error, it finally boiled down to the lead acid battery being duff. The solar system was feeding it enough power during the day, but at night is was dropping too low for the onboard 12v systems to function, even though the 2 x lithiums were full.

Once this was replaced everything seems to work fine - touch wood.

Oh and Travelworld were completely useless and didn't have a clue. They just kept saying the batteries were fine.

12V ciggy sockets are okay but the quality of 12v plugs can be poor. I had a Mdeion TV that would sometimes work and sometimes not. Replaced the PLUG and all was well - very tiny solder inside old plug was not passing enough current to TV.
