Always wondered why autotrail include a air brake at rear of my 2005 Cheyenne.
Perhaps it's to slow use down so we lean to relax and enjoy the scenery, :drink:or for when we leve things on the roof so it doesn't full off and hit someone.
Anyway for whatever reason they do it for, mine as gone.
Used a spare piece of plastic fascia boarding and sikaflex

If my mpg suddenly goes from 25 to 40 I'll let you know  if only.

Be prepared for water entering via the roof vent when it rains while travelling.
The 'air brake' is a wind deflector to streamline the wind and rain OVER the vent instead of in it....and it allegedly makes the roof line a little more aerodynamic.

Are we talking about a roof spoiler at the back or something in front of the sky lights, I think there is some cross purpose thinking here.

Just realised that myself.
The long air brake right at the back is there to 'dirty up' the air passing over the roof making it turbulent and the van more aerodynamic (if you can make a brick aerodynamic) and helps keep the rear wall clean.
