just looking
Due to work comitments I’m looking to swap my 35ft semi trad Narrowboat for a motor home,I’m looking for a 2 berth Motorhome that’s ready to live in.My Narrowboat is fully loaded for continuous cruising, solar, generator, mains hook up with good security fitted.Everything you need to live on the canals. To much to list happy to talk.

LOL, you are kidding right?
If you don't post photos and being your first posts no one will take this seriously.
I am serious,I live on the boat it’s my home I don’t want to post photos online. If anyone is serious about a swap I will give them as many photos as they want.I’m sure you understand my position!

Yes & No.

If you were selling a house there would be photos, layout plan, heating details, EPC etc etc

Ok you don't have to supply the location of said boat but asking a lot for anyone to offer details of interest based on nothing.

Is this a scam?

Must agree with Randall, you are expecting someone to contact you with details of their Motorhome, yet you are not prepared to set up a few pictures of said boat, I'm actually considering to buy a Houseboat but certainly would not entertain an ad like yours.
Come on fella, wise up, Funsters are genuine people who are risk aware.

Just a thought, if you click onto the following website, you will get an idea of how to advertise and show your Houseboat without a problem. Might help you get a buyer/swapper

Not really no.
If you look in the classifieds on here there are plenty of vans for sale all with photographs.
I don't remember ever seeing a van for sale advert on here without photographs and the owner saying he is only prepared to dm photographs.

Has the hall marks of a scam!
Really can’t see why he won’t post photos and basic details, for all we know it may only be a very short Narrowboat or one of the longest, it could even be just one of the scabby ones you see moored alongside any towpath, may not even be a going concern!

With all things being possible I suggest that we give the benefit of doubt to the OP for this morning, after all they may still be working during the week, if there is no return then I think, my fellow Funster, we have done someone a service, if you get my meaning?

Swap "paranoid" for "not stupid".

You are stalking the man telling people what time he has viewed the thread and what time he has been on line
I will stick with paranoid thanks but you just added stupid to it
That's not stalking, anyone can do the same on here, just click on his name.

I was going to check in but I thought it pointless because you all know anyway and I'm still no nearer to swapping for a rosie and Jim
