How does the current log in system work?

Sometimes I will log in, then later leave Fun for just a minute or two in order to check e mails, etc., after which I have to log in again.

Another time I will come on after being off overnight to find myself still logged in.

If I use the forum on Kindle I seem to be permanently logged in.

Confused.

John, only times I seem to need to log in again, providing I have asked to stay logged in, is when there is some sort of upgrade on the fun server requiring it to be rebooted. Mainly I use my iPad, but the odd occasion I go on via windows it's the same. No doubt Jim or someone will explain, it's been a while since I had to re enter passwords, can't remember when though.

Me too, user name and password, I was putting it down to my new hard drive and cookies and other things unknown.

I tick the box that says keep me logged in so when ever I pick it up, Jim has put something on so that if you are inactive for 30 mins it takes you off then automatic back on when you open the page.

This works on my I Pad and Lap Top.

Thanks, folks.
I always tick the "keep me logged in" box, but it makes no difference.
I can, as I said, be switched off overnight and still be fully logged in the next day.
Another time I can be off for 2 minutes (not 30) to check a mail and have to log in again.
Passwords, etc. are remembered, but still logged off.

Seems to need log in / out at random?

Quite annoying at times.

Ever felt unwanted John:p

Unwanted????
You better believe it!

Took Management shopping the other day.
Got to her first stop, BHS.
At the door she said "'Bye. Go away, you're a pain when I'm shopping".

Bloody charming.

Totally unfair, of course.
As long as I'm fed and watered regularly I just have the occasional moan and carry stuff as instructed.

Anyway, back to log in.
