It is a bummer, but they have each other, a lovely home and Rob was promoted a couple of months ago. He’s now a Band 6 Snr Mental Health Nurse - and still loving the job.

I said they should get back to a normal life, and if there’s an extra ‘little guest’ at the wedding breakfast so be it!

Aaaaah Bisto!!! I see you like your Bisto Gravy Granules. I always get friends and relatives to bring me Bisto Gravy Granules when they visit from the UK. It's not easily to find in NZ.

We got a "Bing Bong" at the front door yesterday evening.


On the step was a large cardboard box and a delivery driver disappearing down the drive???
On opening said box we found that our eldest and his good lady (who you may know has her own big problems right now) had sent us, "Not just a food parcel, " Oh! No!!! It was an M&S food parcel. And very yummy it looks too.

Negotiations are underway as who gets first dibs of what.

Thing is, After you've sorted it out, you won't know where anything is on the move.
It's a bit like the week after the Supermarkets have a 'Move around"

They dont take long. Only put in the water you need. Dont overfill. use mine on invertor.

Boxing day 2016 and my hubby and neighbour are bored with Xmas already. I have always wanted an extra window in our kitchen. 29th Dec i come home to a hole in the wall. 2nd Jan and they had fitted a window he had bought on eBay. By mid February it was all done and i absolutely love it. All done on a budget, reusing the existing floor and wall tiles. I do still dread that week before Xmas and New Year though when they decide what mischief they are going to get up to next ! Hopefully it wont involve knocking holes in walls in winter - it might look sunny but it was bloody freezing!

Sorry but you made me laugh. I’ve never been to an Indian restaurant that serves any meat from a pig.

Ingredients:

Pork shoulder 250g
Onion diced 140g
Fenugreek Seed 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seed 1/2 tsp
Fennel Seed 1/2 tsp
Mustard Seed 1/2 tsp
Black Onion Seed 1/2 tsp
Crushed Black Pepper 1 tsp
Sea Salt 5g
Gram Masala 8g
Coriander Powder 6g
Turmeric 5g
Kashmiri Chilli Powder 7g
Peanut Butter 60g
Ginger Fresh Fine Dice 30g
Garlic Crushed 30g
Jaggery 80g
Water 200ml
Coconut Milk 200ml
Tamarind Pulp 200ml
Garnish
Crushed Chat Peanuts
Sliced Spring Onion
Toasted Sesame Seeds

Method:

Heat pan, add oil.
Add Bengal 5 spice ( cumin seed, fennel seed, fenugreek seed, black onion seed, mustard seed) cook until spices pop.
Add crushed garlic cook until golden.
Add ginger and diced onion cook until golden.
Add pork cook till coloured.
Add spice powders.
Add peanut butter, tamarind pulp, coconut milk & water. Mix well and cook until pork is tender (pork shoulder needs long slow cook and keep adding water as required to stop sauce catching base of pan)

Eat with plain rice, chapattis or naan and a crunchy onion salad.

Whilst I was working in India I discovered how they get round this issue.
In the restaurant they had two colours of tablecloths. The red tablecloth area for meat eaters and the green tablecloth area for vegitarians. It worked very well and I was surprised how many were not vegitarians.
