You simply need to make sure that it will fit in the space.
What Ah is your existing battery? It should be written on the top or side

I replaced our original Banner leisure battery with a Varta LFD90 a couple of years ago. Got it from Alpha Batteries (link above) as they were cheaper than Tayna at the time. They were very helpful when speaking to them on the phone.

Think the LFD90 has now been superseded by the LFD95.

I would suggest measuring the existing battery and make a note of where the positive and negative terminals are and it's Ah which will be written on it, then giving them a call... or you can use the filter on their website...

You won't go far wrong with Varta.

Hi I have used Halfords for the last 13 years on all my battery's mainly because its easier to return them if you have problems, but had none so far.

Is it worth considering getting lithium? You prob only need to buy one to get more available Ah to actually use? Though of course it will be close to twice the cost, possibly even a bit more ...

If it's daylight just disconnect the wire from the solar panel into the solar controller before you start... And reconnect it last

Solar controller will look something look like this. Wire's from the solar panels and wire's out the battery.

Perhaps it would be worth finding someone to help you that is a little more knowledgeable. That way you know it's right and you'll learn how to do it for next time? Where are you based?

I’ve believe it’s not good to disconnect solar panels when under load, it can damage the regulator.
If I’m going to remove batteries I disconnect the solar panels the night before.

Yes, but a couple of points. If the new battery is a different type to the old battery, (wet, AGM, Gel) you may need to set the appropriate profile on the charger. Or restrict your choice to the same type as the old one if there's no way of setting a profile.

If you have solar, your solar controller might have to be connected in a definite sequence so that it recognises the battery as a 12V type, not a 24V one. If so, disconnect one of the solar panel wires, then connect the battery first, then the solar panel wires.
