Evening folks,

Has anyone got any experience of the Kampa Limpet system? In particular installing / use of them on a non Kampa awning?

Thanks in advance.

I use them to keep the awning sides against the van on our Fiamma wind out awning and another couple to hold the draft skirt on over the rear wheel arch.
I bought a cheap brass eye and punch kit off of eBay to make and reinforce the holes rather than fork out for the Kampa hole maker.

Apparently Kampa issued a warning about using them over any van graphics as it can do some damage.

yes we've got to be careful as we have a lot of graphics on our swift, can pull them off or make them "bubble up"

Never used them as we use 50mm dia. magnets on our PVC.

Yes, we do similar with an awning and the skirt. The only thing we did find was that they worked better without the brass reinforcing rings which seemed to create a gap and a less close fitting. We ended up just using a punch to make the holes and clamped them. They work very well for us.
