If like me you are sitting at home waiting anxiously to be released from captivity and allowed to roam once more in our perhaps not too modest motorhomes then take a look at Jits into the Sunset above. It is a blog put together by Adam and Tania both in their 20s who have started their travels in Ireland on the wild Atlantic Way, then around Scotland and down into Europe , Portugal, Spain France Switzerland and Italy. Their "Van " is a 1998 Peugeot Boxer Autosleeper Symphony, previously owned by Adams mum . We worry about Hook up and Campsites but they motor along finding the most incredible overnight stops which have sometimes turned into weeks and months. Most are found on Park for the Night. Adam is a freelance film maker and I have to say a pretty good one. They took a year off initially to do the trip but having returned to the UK in late 2020 but now intend to go off again this year. The Scenery and stop off s are pretty spectacular and they definitely left me asking "why did I leave it so late to do this?"
They are on both You Tube and Instagram, I recommend that you tune in and join them on their travels. It is a total breath of fresh air in these very trying times.

They make some of the best van life / travel videos on YouTube. Stunning videos, filming and voiceovers. I wish they out them out more often but I guess their infrequency enables their quality.

I wish some 60+ somethings would make a van life video blog.
All these vlogs seem to feature 20 year olds who put up with the lack of creature comforts
Tread the Globe are in their 50s. Good watch.BUSBY.

It was very addictive watching them. We are currently watching Snow and Curt driving through South America, they are also super addictive to watch as well.

I like Overlanding Sophia... nice young couple who are doing a Cape Town trip this year, well in theory anyway! 😜

I loved their videos - great video quality and very personable couple. Made me think about a smaller van as ours is on the way out! As someone earlier in thread said, it would be great to see vlogs from those in their 50s or 60s. I think one of the things that make theirs so good is they do fewer and shorter vlogs than some so you are seeing highlights of trips. That said, I also watch others where more everyday events are filmed and still enjoy them.

I`m wondering if they have underestimated the demands of African roads on their Sprinter ?
They seem overly worried about cracks appearing in their polyfilla filled joints in the wall boards
Time will tell. it`ll be an interesting journey and I wish them well

Haha - yes I was thinking similarly. They are a relatively resourceful couple, so let’s hope they get on okay!

John of John and Mandy has just turned 50 too.
I stopped watching them, she always seems to have the camera filming up her nostrils, put me off them

Enjoyed Jits though, I`m planning to go to Ireland when we`re allowed, agree about the photography, the drone does make a big difference to the cinematography
