It's snowing here in France! (1 Viewer)

Just on our way back northward from Spain travelling on the A75, today we've had typical Irish weather ... sun, heavy rain, hail, sleet and now snow! We're at around 1100m and still climbing, just passed a snowplough/gritter.

We're supposed to be stopping for the night shortly but might press on to try to get lower and hopefully a bit warmer.

Yup, it's probably a bit too far though so were heading for Issoire as hopefully it's better there, if not then we might move on after tea.

It’s hail here in Spain at Torsedillas. I was going to go out to see the Semena Santa procession tonight but it’s late (for me) at 9pm and a very cold and wet walk backcross the bridge.

I'm a bit west of that...but was cycling in shorts and t shirt yesterday and I'm watching the sleet fall today....

Hail stones and snow for us near Aranda de Duero. And they have told us the ferries cancelled!!

Got to Issoire about 30 mins ago and parked up in the Carrefour market carpark along with a load of other MHers as the aire is rammed, probably saw the weather forecast for continuing south and decided to wait it out. Fortunately it's not raining although it looks like it was earlier so hopefully a bit warmer overnight than if we'd stopped earlier.

Might have to do a quick reccy of the shop and see if there are any discounted goodies!

Absolutely peeing it down here in Vénosc…..hammering it down with snow up top in the ski resort though. Hopefully the wind will be a bit less to tomorrow, I was actually blown across the concrete at the top of the gondola today. Very hairy. Thankfully my daughter in law blocked my fall….she took the brunt. Very weird.

Battening down the hatches tonight in the moho park up at Praia de Castelo de Neiva just south of Viana do Castelo, Portugal. Strangely warm and no rain (as yet!) so hopefully no hail or other nasties to look forward to here on the coast.

It was exactly like that on the A75 (high ground) as we travelled south at the end of MAY a year or so back.

Actually, perhaps a bit more snow on the ground then than in your pic.
