My other half has named our vans as female.

Ours is mostly refered to as the van, sometimes the Hymer but never with a gender, though the van is very comfortable and much cared for does not have a gernder.

I'm the same, they are women; but thinking about it we give our vans names that could be any gender, "the slug" " the German" "the Yank" "The Van" We did have a "George" but she was a Tomboy. Is Tomboy a gender these days,

It all depends on the situation we find "Ourselves" in . If "We" pull off a major manouver (Overtake/Grand Slalom) Its "You little TART!!" .If "Storming the Bank" ( Pyrree knees) Its "Captain to engine room MORE POWER!!". If having to apply the brakes (Hush my mouth!!) Its "Whoa back m'e dads horse".But bestest of all,is when we are "Rolling down the French m/ways at speed factor 130km/hr (+ X %.? ) with a big grin on my face. Its "You little sod..Get ON!!".Part of the number is ..YY so Delilah springs to mind,but i think there is one already on here. So,whatever,whenever. Lets crunch some miles.
