Not bothered about being level. Only ever used the levelling ramps once. Surely it's impossible to be dead level because the Earth's round.

Never used to bother us as we nearly stop anywhere more than one or two nights as long as sleeping with heads up fine.
Always use my senses for leveling and they generally work well. In the new van I'm far more aware of how level it is, I think it must be down to the longer wheelbase. The van is only 300mm longer but the wheelbase is 4400mm the old van was 3900mm.
After we parked up I would be saying that front corner is a tiny bit down the boss said feels level to me she got fed up with me and she downloaded a level app to her crapPad. I felt quite chuffed as all it did was prove my senses were spot on.:D

Would it be better with a glass that was perfectly made, ie without one side higher than the other ... :D2

Truth is, I decided that I would not take any glasses and use plastic cups - it ain't the same. So as a bit of a cheapskate I bought the little double pack of sort of ice cream sundae type things from the freezer cabinet 'taramasula' or something flavour. Very nice and it meant I had a glass to use for the important things and a spare (after I had eaten the second one - my fridge, very old, touch wood, is working very well. My Helen the Hymer thread will be updated shortly after this but here is the latest view. Don't know if Helen is level or not but I am sinking slowly outside. Very nice Cathargo on a 14 plate just up from me (Maîche). The drink is cheap lager from Aldi.

I have just taken this with the iPad and could not be bothered to move to get the iPad itself level! Might have to go back to Aldi for more!

Good afternoon, :france:Clive:pray::france:

You do realise to get more lager you'll have to move your bum don't you ... why not just sit there and watch the world go by, or have a snooze ... same effect both with and without the lager! :D

I have the Truma app which works really well with a little ball that rolls. Put in your axle dimensions and it will tell how much compensation is required. Generally I can sense if its near!! It even comes with a sun finder direction so you can find a good pitch for sun if you arrive in the cloud and rain

Kitchen sink app.
If the kitchen sink drains, it'll do!!!

We've got that App too! We must have paid more for ours though as our tells us if we are out of kilter and we use that as our rough guide as to whether we drive onto one plank or two and at front or back (or both)!

We're thinking of getting the Thetford app.
When you've been to the loo, it messages you to flush, just in case you didn't.

Here at the balloon fiesta there are so many vans out off level due to being towed in and can't get up on. Ramps is unbelievable.. luckily we are near level but in the last pitch at gatcombe farm we were not level and couldn't get up on ramps. I had to switch sides to sleep as the blood was rushing to my head.

Long time
We use a small round bubble on the table and we don't worry too much about level, a lot of the times we don't bother at all if it's near enough and we're not falling over, or out of bed.... it will do!

This topic rears it's head regularly.

Can people really, genuinely, not feel/judge when their MH is level (or at roughly what angle nose-up/nose down they like if they prefer it not exactly level?)

I've never needed a gismo/spirit level/app/waterbottle etc to be able to get ours quickly and happily placed.

The ONLY time I use the spirit level (one of those round ones which is stuck to the worktop!) is when hubby 'thinks' we're not level, even though I know we are ... so of course he has to admit that I was right! :dance2:
