Hello All
I am a newbie and slowly finding my way around owning a motorhome.
I am mostly parked up on airfields when using the chuggabug and therefore never have an electric hook-up facility.
My Foster & Day Mercedes 2.3 came with two Campingaz 907 bottles. However, because I use gas to operate my fridge 24/7...I am eating through them at a rate of knots and they are expensive to refill. I have purchased a third bottle to try to address this.
Is there a downside or any safety negative to me purchasing a 15kg Calor Gas bottle and using that instead? I will have to keep it in the vehicle when I am travelling and have the inconvenience of hauling it in and out of the vehicle at the beginning and end of trips. I am content to do this to save myself a lot of money.
Just asking the question in case I am missing something.
Advice would be greatly appreciated.
