It looks like mould on a fridge door seal. This can happen if the fridge door is not left open when not in use. I would try a careful application of bleach (maybe use a child’s paintbrush).

If that fails then I am sure you could buy new seals.

Bleach on a microfibre cloth might lift it.
Or bicarbonate of soda mixed with white vinegar or lemon juice ( it will really fizz as you mix it)

There is a product called "Black Mould remover" By Cillit Bang. Its £1.75

Spray it on and leave it for 10 mins and wipe off....Job done! We had a small property with the black mould on the bathroom window sealant. Bought this as a trial and no word of a lie ...did the job very well indeed!

Yes but.....cheap bleach at £1.75 and well worth it .
I was always against the advert for anything Cillit! It really bugged me terribly! Then we tried it..........Well I would be blowed! It actually did the job it was advertised for! Makes a change does n't it?

Whichever product you choose, be sure to wash it off well to save damaging the rubber.

Not a bad idea to then dry it off, dab some petroleum jelly onto a cloth and very lightly coat the seal.

You should notice the door seals more tightly and you might save some gas into the bargain!

An toothbrush is a good way to clean seals. Just make sure you don't put it back afterwards for the original 'owner'!
