Is there such a thing as a three quarter size sleeping bag...????

All being well we will get the thing I am going to have a look at next Sunday... Now!!!

We have only ever had fixed bed 5th wheels/RV`s/Eurovans..... so this little thing has a double made up out of a slide out or 2 singles..... we want to keep it for sleeping as two singles to save all the bother of a jig saw with the cushions and infill`s..

From my biker days I very rarely got a good nights sleep in those cocoon type bags that bikers use, and when I did use a single bag it felt claustrophobic... I thrash about a lot in my sleep..

At home we have King size beds and it does not matter.... cos she usually ends up on the floor..:giggler:

What do other people do in a similar situation..????
:bear:

Yes there are double sleeping bags, and singles that you can zip together also. The trouble with both is that if they are zipped up it's not that easy to get out, you have to find the zip unzip, and do it past your knees otherwise you will be getting stuck in the bag. (y)

One sandwich of Duvet, VeryOldMoTypeFella and another Duvet. The one nearest the bed, to be well tucked in on all sides and the top one tucked in along one long side, or it will end up on the floor. :gum:

We had two narrowish singles in our VW Topaz. Used single bedding sets made up of Ikea cotton mattress protecters, Cotton flat sheet folded and sewn down one side and across the bottom, very lightweight down duvet on top and down pillows. A wool blanket provided seat covers and extra warmth in winter.
cannot be doing with restrictive sleeping bags but don't like my feet sticking out the end hence sewing the flat sheet across the end. I also must have fresh cotton sheets.
Each bedding set rolled up and put away in those charity collection bags that drop through the door. Pillows double up as cushions.

On our first MH we slept on the two longditudanal couches as singles.
Best solution we found was a double duvet each. Fold the duvet lengthways into three parts like a letter Z. Place on couch and lie between bottom and middle part. Pull top over your body and let it hang down side. No draughts and no cold spot on side of van.

For storage, fold back to a Z , place pillows on one end, roll pillows & duvet into a roll and put a bungee round or slip into drawstring bag for tidiness.

Why on earth do you want a sleeping bag?

Duvet is the way.

Be careful if buying online ... we had a 3/4 sleeping bag for kids when they were small 😂

Could you not just get a full-sized one and tie a big knot in the bottom of it to shorten it? :whistle2:

I did wonder which 1/4 of yourself was in for the chop.✂

I despise sleeping bags - claustrophobic things you can't move in. It's wrong.

If you really want a bag I bought a good sleeping bag from Go Outdoors early this year. I was fishing for a week in a tent in January and wanted to be warm. So its very high rated. It just zipped my feet inside and put he rest over me like a duvet. And then I also had a king size duvet too. Toasty.

Surely a single duvet is better in your van?
