the broad expanse of black vinyl between the dashboard and the front widow on our A class is discoloured in places by the sun where it had been standing with blinds open prior to my ownership. One whole quarter is a milky grey colour.
Apart from boot polish (!!!) what product might restore this to black. Bear in mind it's interior, a normal dash spray not sufficient, and back to black probably only suitable for exterior.
Suggestions????

Plastic spray paint. Done with a modicum of care it's impossible to distinguish from original vinyl.

Throw a cover over it, if you repaint or get the colour back it will only go again if you don't cover it, so might as well just cover it now.

Have a dash mat made to cover it although I can't remember who makes them, sorry. I always found with my previous van that that area gave too many reflections in the windscreen if it was too shiny.
