ID Mobile Issues

Have binned RWG after they kept taking money after I tried to cancel for a few months and have now gone with an ID mobile sim.
Worked ok in my Netgear in the UK as I used it to update the Firestick in the van yesterday but landed in France and it’s not having it

Any ideas? Have switched international roaming on but no joy

Would be interested how you get on, we went with them as best for roaming, were off in September Spain and Portugal.

Yes done that and it was working ok yesterday used 2.5mb updating the tv in the van.

Hi,I've read your FAQ, everything looks OK on phone and my account and yet I'm not able to browse.My phone sees the available networks you partner with in France (visible when in manual scan). The APN is well set, greyed out though so I can't edit it, I can only discard it. Not sure if this is...

Will do, RWG were faultless in May/June when we went around Europe but a pain when trying to cancel.
Have just had a reply to one of the 3 emails asking about a refund! No doubt that was only as Revolut has opened up a dispute with them to recover the money.

I don’t know about I’d but Smarty has a different APN for roaming

After a bit of research it seems that France thinks ID mobile is 3UK and goes with that for the APN.
Have now changed APN to ID and alls good
Mrs CC can now watch her crap on tv and is happy again

I used it in my phone in France this May with no issues and hopefully the same in 10 days when I head back across

All good now, streaming ok, although not as fast as the RWG sim in June
