Highly inaccurate article about Brits obtaining EU Pet Passports in today's 'The Local (Spain)'

The following article is wrong on so many points that I thought I'd start a competition to see how many of them you can spot. No prize but plenty of kudos!

Unfortunately it's behind a paywall so I've had to reproduce it as a pdf file - hope this opens for you ok.

I considered commenting in The Local but it's such a bad article that it would take ages to put it right.

The Italian 'Local' (which is the one we subscribe to) is actually pretty good. The quality must vary from country to country.

Could be I suppose, though an 'Esme Fox' has been foolish enough to claim the article as her own. Apparently she is a freelance travel writer and editor with 15 years experience.

Nor me! But if I was an editor there is no way I would commission an article from her after this one.

No, I'm sure she's a real person. I do think she should stick to writing about human rather than pet travel though.
