- just bought our first motorhome.
Hi
Lovely to be able to join you all.
My name's Nisey and I live in Bridlington on the East Yorkshire coast. My husband, Andy, and I have recently bought our first motorhome; a 2003 McLouis Lagan 251 that we've christened Hecate.
Although we've taken Hecate and our 3 little dogs out for drives locally in the Yorkshire Wolds and up the coast, we have yet to go for our first overnight stay. Truth to tell we're a bit nervous as, when we bought her, the previous owner gave us a very detailed explanation about what was what and what you needed to do with it. Unfortunately, we were both so excited to be buying our first motorhome that neither of us took in a word he said!
Still, any day now, the call to hit the road will be overwhelming and off we'll go.
We don't know anyone else who owns a motorhome so I'm delighted to find the forum and hope to make some on-line friends here. Apologies in advance if I post lots of ludicrously simple questions at first. I'll find my feet in time!
