Is repairing the PCB a possibility?

its possible as the aes is only automatic switching it might be difficult if the gas safety circuits are part of the pcb if your fridge has a separate spark generator and gas valve its probably possible

If you are able to access the serial no./ ID mark for your current (defunct?) PCB board, try searching for that.

I had a similar problem some years ago and sourced one by searching for "motorhome fridge PCB", Selecting images on the search results and then comparing like for like. Took a while!

It's also possible to use other model PCBs if your ok with losing minor functions

There are usually 2 separate PCBs in that box although some models have one in that type of box and the other linked by a ribbon cable to the other PCB mounted on the rear of the fridge. A photo of the faulty board would give a good idea of what is required
