Help please, I'm in trouble

I have just tripped over my wife's iPhone (Lightning) charging cable and snapped it. I am in BIG trouble as we have no alternative way of charging her iPhone. I have a Samsung Galaxy which uses sensible and universal USB-C but that's no help to get me out of this situation.

The real issue is that we are currently in a campsite in Ypres and I don't think Amazon will be of any help. Last time I needed a replacement Apple charger for my laptop in France I had to travel to the other end of the country to find a dealer.

Can anyone suggest a computer/electronics shop in the vicinity that may have a suitable cable or wireless charging adapter?

I'd try Amazon delivery to a local drop box, failing that ask Google for local mobile phone shops

You will probably find one in a supermarket, particularly the big Carrefour or LeClerc.

does your iphone have a wireless charging ability if so they are quite cheap and common.
And then all you do is just sit it on the plate and it will charge via any charging station/plate, olus any movile phone seller will allow you yto use one of their own for now

Yes I know that but I dont have one with me. We use that at home

the point Im making is they are quite common and even samsung / android / apple users could have them around you

I found an ipad charger in one of the main french supermarkets…just look for a big one and ask….

I think in reality you will find an iPhone charge wire as easy to buy as a loaf of bread .

Sounds to me like she already knows!! I think she needs to go shopping while the op sorts out the charger. It could be expensive
