Decided to chance breakfast out today. Went early, Wetherspoons adjacent to Windsor castle. We were there when they opened at 8am then spent an hour people watching around the castle. Things appear to be returning to normal. Lovely morning....

Thanks Riverbankannie yes aware is my middle name. Wetherspoons are doing a good job with social distancing and safety. They have new Perspex divides where 2m is not possible and a number of other well thought out controls. I felt pretty safe but I must say at that early hour they were no busy. The berakfasy though was excellent.

her takings have been nearly the same as pre-lockdown, lucky enough it has plenty of outside space for tables so she can get the numbers in.
I think when this COVID comes back at the end of the year it’s going to be carnage with a lot of firms as the government cannot give them any more help

Well for food pubs they can't add the inside and outside capacity together, because should it come on to rain, people will not wish to stay outside and hence they can only take reservations based on their inside capacity.

I`m in North Wales on the Mawwdach River estuary. After a late breakfast I got my Kayak out and paddled up the river estuary helped by the incoming tide.
Beautiful scenery.
Later I paddled back helped by the outgoing tide.
Then it was tea in the motorhome with a nice bottle of wine
Watched the F1 highlights and now listening to some music
I`d say it`s pretty much my perfect day
