I'm curious. What's the membership demographic of the Funsters?
Now I just wonder what the outcome of this will be ???
Obviously so that due respect and weight can be given to the needs and opinions of the over 60s, Dave :Rofl1::Rofl1:
I remember saying to one of my offspring that it would be a good idea if she took up motorhoming and I would look for one in Germany for her as a gift. The reply I got was "Oh dad that's a lovely thought, but we are not that OLD yet". Having said that my four year old grandson would quite happily fulltime with me. Its quite obviously a generation thing.
I looked at the poll and my first thought was that you have missed off the age group to which most members fall into i.e 8-10 years ........
................... MENTALLY
Remember Logan's run?
I even remember when we had a choice of ONE TV channel .
Its that box in the corner that I stopped watching when Ena Sharples left Coronation St.
I remember Hilda Ogden!
You mean she isn't in it any more? How can it still be going without Ena?
Obviously in the 40+ group then
Am led to believe that Jack and our Anny are no longer with us as well
Who would every have believed that they would dumb down Corrie? :Rofl1::Rofl1:
Ena left when Minnie Coldwell stopped going in the snug....
Just shows how wrong I can be..........I thought it was when Newton and Ridleys put the price of milk stout up by thrupence.
Hang on a minute !!! I cant believe how many (sad:Sad: ) people on this forum actually have watched corrie or any other soap (even only once or twice ). Shouldn't you all be camping or on motorhomefun !!!!!
:Rofl1::Rofl1::Rofl1: I must try some of this motorhoming sometime...It sounds fun.
Nobody has mentioned the sheer drama when poor Harry Hewitt jacked his van up on bricks and reaped the consequences. Tragic. Poor Concepta! - that was surely a lesson to motorhomers everywhere?
And Valerie Barlow, electrocuting herself with a Morphy Richards hairdrier, on the very eve of their £10 passage to Australia. Who'd have thought Ken Barlow would still be in the outdated thing now?
