Food shopping in Spain (1 Viewer)

We are taking the ferry to Bilbao in Aug. As we're on the ferry we're not trusting too much fresh food inside the fridge.

Does anyone know, or could recommend, a good food store very close by the road from Bilboa (think it's the A8) up to the A63 / A64 in France. We don't want to make a big detour from the main road, and certainly not down / up any winding, narrow roads.

And, any tips on how to find decent bacon / sausage in Spain or France ?

If you type Lidl into Google maps there will always be one or two around you, and in spain they sell normal bacon.
