fitting an Alpine reversing camera (1 Viewer)

i have an Alpine IVE-560BT double DIN head unit in my van , https://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/mobile-media-stations4/ive-w560bt which appears to allow an Alpine HCE C125 reverse camera to be fitted https://www.alpine.co.uk/p/Products/camera58/hce-c125

has anyone fitted an Alpine reverse camera? are the supplied cables long enough?

looking at the camera specs. the cables supplied are

• Camera Cable Length: 0.5m
• Camera Extension Cable Length: 7m
• Reverse/ACC/Video/GND Cable Length: 3

the question is are these long enough to reach from the top back of our 6m PVC or do i need to try and source an extension?

I'd say by the time you've routed the cables neatly that 7m would be no where near long enough...

Would suggest cheap extension cables from eBay

I've also just seen the price of their camera

Are you sure mate?

Incidentally, it doesn't have infrared for night time viewing?
