Hi , I think is due my van is due it’s first mot .it was registered in April 2016 so I think it’s due in April 2019 .,but I read somewhere that it has been changed to 4 years instead of 3 .Has anyone come across this or was just media talk.

99% certain it was media talk , folowing some ideas from within government.

Maybe. Check your number plate on the govg. MOT site

Nah... Still 3 years old.

Was going to be 4 then every 2nd after that but it was decided against.

When it was first brought in it was 10 years old... Even today's cars won't last ten years and still pass without work.

Invitation to renew RFL will state needs MOT to be valid at renewal date.

Thanks for all the replies , I thought it might be to good to be true .better book it in for a mot and hope for the best,it’s a Autotrail so anyone’s guess at the outcome.
