Can anyone help with which ferry company to use from Dover to Calais with 23 Ft Motor Home.
Cheapest would be nice if decent company.

I think you'll find you cannot take an LPG powered vehicle in the tunnel but The amount you can carry is quite a lot as long as the cylinders are closed.DFDS almost always. Tunnel is convenient, but often more money and has limits on the size and number of LPG tanks, which is an issue if you have fixed tanks or an LPG converted petrol.
Christian.
So it is don't know where BrianK picked that up?2 year old thread.

Spot on Alan, I thought so, but better to be sure.
As you have done the journey, can I ask how long you are away from the MH. I can see the sailing time is 2hrs, but wondered in total how long it would be. I have a dog, he's good for 2 hrs, 3 is a bit of a stretch for him.

Has someone moved Calais to confuse the immigrants.
Last trip we took was just an hour and a half.
Google says 1.5hrs too.
My apologies Brian.Wouldn't know, my post was about sailings to Dunkirk (post #9)

My apologies Brian.
I misread your post as a lot of folks seem allergic to Dunkirk and only ask about Calais.
Add another 30 minutes or so to allow for loading.
Unloading is generally as soon as the boat stops rocking...a bit like a racing start..
it is.always.Thanks, sounds good. I may give it a try. Been through the tunnel half a dozen times in the last couple of years, but the Dover-Dunkirk route seems quite a bit cheaper.
