Looks like the 'Clip-a-car' (I think that's what it was called) has been given new life - I think they're the ones you will have seen in France in the early '90s.https://newatlas.com/carcamp/12654/

and this one made by Ginetta Sports Cars in 1970 so they could trailer a car to a race meeting and have somewhere for the mechanics to sleep while at the track.

The rare bit is the Sierra not seen one of those on the road for years.
I guess most of them have been pillaged for kit cars, like mine...Oddly enough I saw a Sierra yesterday. First one I've seen in years.
From 1980 - 1988 I was a salesman in a Main Ford Dealer. The Sierra "concept car" was revealed at a motor show in SECC roughly a year before becoming available to the public. I commented to my sales manager that it looked hellish and would struggle to replace the MKv Cortina. His reply "you better get used to it , it will be your bread and butter for a long time". The concept car had infilled wheel arches like the old cars seen in gangster movies , so a few things changed before mass production thankfully.Oddly enough I saw a Sierra yesterday. My other half Max has a Sierra XR4i in the garage that he’s restoringThe rare bit is the Sierra not seen one of those on the road for years.
Ooh! One of my favourite cars. Had a black one, black leather, cossy wheels, cossy Ltd slip diff. Owned previously by a guy who raced Cosworths so he had breathed on this one, quite a bit as it turned out.My other half Max has a Sierra XR4i in the garage that he’s restoring
