seems our Australian cousins have been told to contact their dealers to find out if their vehicle is affected. Nothing on the VOSA site for UK engines? Seems it maybe vin nos between ZFA25000002D26560 & ZFA25000002D50789 but not sure if that's Oz numbers only?

that's 24,229 units between the affected VIN nos - how many are imported into AUS in the affected period? that might give an indication as to whether the VIN nos are exclusively an AUS batch, or if this is the global batch.

Looking at my VIN number those numbers are different. The letter "D" is a "7" in mine. Otherwise looks to be just after mine. Wonder what engines they are referring to. 2.3L or 3.0L?

Would have to be a 2.3 the 3.0lt was never made in Euro 6 form.

My September build 2.3L 150hp Euro 6 engine Fiat chassis has a 2Cxxxxx VIN no. So may have preceded the affected batch. Fingers crossed!

The Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website has the official recall details, first published on 8th March. It gives a "Date range of build" from 19/12/2016 to 10/01/2017 together with a VIN list (not just a range) for the vehicles. Of course they don't say if the list is for all affected vehicles, or just those that were imported into Australia.

The Australian website www.caradvice.com.au reported that the recall affected 56 Ducato vans in Australia.

Ours too is 2Cxxxxx, but the 5 numbers are within the numbers shown. We thought it was built in December 2016. Think I will download the fiat app, I believe this is quicker than waiting for a letter. We have said that we are relieved that the EGR pipe recall has been in the winter, hopefully any camshaft recall wont be in the middle of the summer.

The VOSA recall website is for safety related recalls only.
My Chrysler had a VOSA recall for an airbag issue, potentially fatal.
My Hyundai had a recall for a lighting issue but not on the VOSA site, notified by Hyundai when the car went in for other work.

Camshaft is not a safety item.
