Hi I have an ixeo 720 18 months old . It’s displaying an error message on the vans onboard computer - E022- any ideas?
thanks

Thank you for this download .I am wondering is it for the “dashboard computer “on the van or is it for this up near the habitation door ?

if it was a van as is FIAT fault then you would need an OBD reader to acces the code and the dash would show a fault message or a flashing odometer.
what you are showing looks to be a habitation fault code.

what is not working? in the hab area

Those codes appear to be for a 1991/92 American GM vehicle, so not much use to you.

Sorry download was for an obd port but you weren’t very explicit on where you were seeing the code.
Checking on the E022 code on the Burstner control panel

I can’t seem to find any error codes, except for the solar controller
Error codes on mine are
SDT ... bus system fault messages:
E270, E271, E272 & E273
do you know what make model your electroblock & solar controller you have?

No error codes showing in my Burstner instruction Manual.
The control Panel is a Schaudt LT 633 searching on this brings up the German Buerstner forum
But can’t find E022 in it. I’ll continue to look. If your German language is good try on there😁

Ok now found this, E = Error next 2 digits Are the address (priority) for modules, last digit is the fault
E022 Hella IBS Par BUS communication
now if you or anybody else knows wtf this is

I wonder if the battery's voltage is too low and the unit has shut itself down ? Could you check the voltage with a multimeter or plug into EHU and see if that sorts it ?

Tomos any update did you manage to fix the problem?

If you were to be really lucky it could just be cable has been knocked off the sensor on the battery terminal. As its only a signal expect just a push on plug. See picture when you open post 9

Hi. Resurrecting an old thread... did you find a solution to this Tomos ?

I also have a EBL630 in my motorhome with the same error.

I can tell you the issue, there is a shunt on the negative side of the leisure battery (pic below) this is used to display the current usage of the battery. So the error code is related to the connection from the shunt to your display panel via EBL
There is a 2 pin plug (bottom left of pic)on the shunt black wires.
So could be a loose connection or the shunt

Yes, I have one of those Hella battery sensors on my system. I've not disconnected it and the fuse to the +'ve side hasn't blown. But it maybe the signal wire has come loose? I'll double check...

At the same time as getting the E022 error, I've also lost control of my pump, which is far more concerning.

You have disconnected it by removing it from the battery 😊😀

Guigsy did you fix the problem?
Nope. I've been emailing specialists. The only suggestion I've had so far is to replace the battery sensor. It might be that it can't detect any current, so it's refusing to activate the pump. I'm sceptical.

The dealer has told me I have to remove everything and put it back to stock before they'll take a look at it. I'm waiting to see when they might be able to do that.

So I still don't know what the issue is, or why it happened.

Update to this... The dealer was massively booked up, so I only just got this sorted this week.

Rather than try to reverse what I'd done and claim innocence, I left it as it was and told them what I'd attempted to do. They were very understanding. They thought the quality of the changes I made was good and couldn't see anything that would have caused the issue. So they replaced the Hella battery sensor and the Schaudt control panel under warranty.

So I'm happy because the van is working again. Only downside is my other half has banned me from progressing the Lithium upgrade until the end of the season, just in case I break it again. ::bigsmile:
