Me too carol I haven't been to it for many years and everyone was asking me in pembrey last year if I could get us in there and eventually the owner has agreed to let us have these pitches I just hope everyone enjoys as much as we did years ago ,it's great that a lot of people dress up sixties and seventies and they have so much fun if it's a success we might even do another next year

Well come on you lucky funsters it's time to party at the seaside in porthcawl .you don't have to bring your buckets and spades as there is an open air market on the weekend to us all your needs ,also lots to do with the elvis fest ,and if you want a bit of a change you can stroll along the prom for 500 yards into the town of porthcawl and check out all the nooks and cranny shops and the world famous club where the likes of the bachelors and the shadows used to perform stoneleighs was a famous arena in the good old days ,shame it burnt down but the memories are still there ,so if you would like to join us us ,there are only 10 pitches left and you can be camping only metres from the famous coney beach with fantastic views and lots to do ,so check out the info on page 1 of this forum

Last year there was a "half-caste" Elvis in one of the marquees, (definitely not intended as a racist description) and he was really good, the only thing is it usually clashes with Pembrey rally.

Hi Stu, I've been going to the Elvis festival for quite a few years now, and it gets bigger every year, you probably won't believe it if you've not been for a few years.

Well Gwyn, half cast hey, I believe you mean mixed race or mixed heritage, but did you mean offence too anybody, of course not, so should anybody take offence, not in my opinion. If they stopped changing what we should and shouldn't say. I mean the LGBT or LGBTQ, some people are happy to be called queer. Life, there is nowt as queer as folk or is there.
