Hi Geri the hi tide is still open for camping I'm still going for the weekend anyway but before I book anything privately im trying to get my 600 pounds deposit back I've got a meeting with them on Monday

Sorry to interfere Stuart, and I speak for myself of course, but until you get the deposit back shouldnt you hold back on the refunds. In my opinion you should not be out of pocket anymore than anybody else, of course others may feel differently.

Ok thank you all .i will wait till Monday if that's ok .i was told I would get it back by then so thank you all again ,I paid the deposit before I had a single name as it had to be booked as the fest finished last year ,so all moneys paid I put into my savings account ,

No rush at this end for a return of deposit, but if the camping meet is also cancelled then we'd need to know, so that we can also cancel a C&CC CS already booked in the same area, for the night before we should have arrived at Porthcawl.

Rita and I are in agreeance with others above, ie, no financial loss should be suffered by you and Kath, in the process of cancelling.

I didn't pay a deposit as I booked last minute (as always) but if I had I'm with the others, I hope the site understands the meaning of customer service and loyalty.
I am sure it will all be OK. You put so much work into these meets everyone really appreciates it.

Update on my refund been in touch with the high tide camping today and they have issued me a refund I should have it back in my bank in 7 days as there very busy with all the refunds and elvis sorting out ,thanks guys for your patience
