It's just the inconvenience of pulling over , leaving engine running , to find that you'd have no lights, pump etc. Especially at night.I like how our van 12v shuts off when the ignition is turned on. I've got a memory like a sieve and would be driving round with everything on if it didn't
Please explain @JeanLuc , what is inconvenient? Genuine question.
When travelling I also like to start the engine for a couple of minutes before moving off, & that would render everything in the hab side without power.
When driving & I pull over to use the loo the engine stays running.Don't know about other solo's but I haven't ever used the loo and needed to flush it while driving... Lol.
As above I leave engine running when I pull over to use the toilet as I'm not stopping. If I turn the engine off the dog will think it's time for a walk.Yes i see that would be annoying. All our lights etc come back on again as soon as the ignition is turned off.
