Electric window - Hymer Exsis-i 562 (2013)

[Motörhead Fun]

Electric window on drivers side (LHD) is playing up. Motor is working but will only lift window for the last inch or two. I have to pull the window up manually to assist to get it to close if lower than that. Also makes a gear crunching noise once closed.

Hymer in Germany sent me some instructions to remove the door panel but was unable to as it was really tight and didn't want to break it.

Any ideas on what could be wrong, how to remove panel, where to get parts, who could help......etc.?
