I love the globecars and would go down that route if we ever do!
lorger can advise!

We love our IH630RD , so much so in fact that at the Malvern show we ordered a brand new one despite swearing to everyone that we definitely weren’t going to for another year!

Have you looked at Vantage Campervans? If I was in the market for a PVC this would be my first port of call.

Vantage and IH do similar top of the range vans and I must admit we did consider a Vantage as we do prefer the tiny fixed sink in the bathroom as the IH has a drop down sink but overall the IH has a bit more of a luxury feel. When you price them out they are very similar, it initially sounds as though Vantage include more extras. If you are vertically challenged like us the Vantage turn around passenger seat at the front leads to serious dangly legs and would need a stool. They really are both lovely but we like the IH people and know they look after you. I’ve heard very good reports from Vantage as well.
Mind you there are loads of PVCs on the market now, so get out there and look, all sorts of price ranges and layouts, it’s a growing market. Think about how you will use it. We love the U shaped lounge because we go away for weeks at a time including winter for 6 weeks in Spain so although making the bed is a bit of a pain, you want somewhere cosy in the evenings. If you’re more of a summer traveller doing lots of sports you might prefer the fixed bed idea with a garage for bigger storage and then only a front dinette. We wouldn’t like that as it would’nt be cosy.
Visit dealers. The Shepton Mallet Show is this weekend. Lincoln I think in a couple of weeks.

Second the IH 630 RL for all the reasons carolyn stated above.
They are also doing a 680 based on the VW crafter which has a fixed sink and slightly separate shower due to the extra 50cm length, however the “pinch point” in the centre section is a bit more pinched than the Fiat as it is a narrower van.

The stumbling block is 3 gas rings most PVC's only have 2. I think Rapeido fit 3 rings. Do you really need 3 rings, I can't remember the last time we use all 3 of our rings.

Do you want transverse or length ways beds, we prefer the length ways !

We had a 6m vantage max for 7 years and really loved it . Good time of year to be looking as there will be lots of PVCs at the Motorhome show at the NEC in October.

We bought the AUTO-TRAIL 634 V-LINE SPORT, which as got all the stuff you asked for inc three ring hob, Thetfords own version of the SOG outside shower fitted BBQ point, good storage, and comes in at 6.3 meter, check it out, no complaints.

We have ih N630RL all the things as above ,three gas rings and electric hot plate , but best of all no money grabbing slimey dealers , to deal with just nice friendly people

Auto sleeper Warwick Duo 5.9 mts - three gas rings, oven, lots of kitchen work top and rear lounge. Lovely for feet up lounging in the evening! Two minutes to make up the bed, as the cushions just pull together, or you can have two good singles & still have an aisle down the middle. We live ours, and tour for 3 to 4 months in the winter complete with dog!

Agreed about the friendly people (not all dealers are slimey) and Ian Hartley and Nicola will visit owners at the Malvern show and their senior fitter camps with us and goes around doing all the little fixing jobs. You can agree what’s required in advance so he has the parts with him or even source a part at the show and he will fix it. Great service.

If you like cooking have a look at Murvi. Their kitchens have acres of work surface. Not fixed beds but they are easy to convert to night mode. :)

I'm of course going to suggest talking a look at Wildax... some layouts have a full 4 ring cooker & oven as standard. My Aurora features only a 2 burner hob but has the oven/grill.

I'm fairly certain, if buying new, Wildax would fit the stove they fit in their other Van's.

We went from a 7.5mt to a PVC Vantage max great van great service great company up at the factory next week for service they are so nice to deal with. We went away with the van for 6 weeks did not miss a larger van for space

Just seen you are in Gorran haven in Truro if of any help

Hi, we chose a Warwick xl after much looking at others ,the Wildax was also on the cards but after speaking to Mr.Wild and his team the Autosleeper came with a better PX from another dealer. I think we were just unlucky with this vehicle as it has had a list of faults and is now entering its third month with the dealer so if you are buying a new van Terry ,go over it with a fine tooth comb before parting with any money .

Adria Twin
But only 2 rings
We carry a spare camping ring (Go Outdoors style)in the garage but have never used it

We have recently downsized to a Rapido V55. Three gas rings and a large AES fridge. 6 metres in length. Very impressed so far. Rapido also has a couple of other options at 6.36 metres I believe. Worth a look. Suits us.

Nearly bought the Rapido single bed model, the "Loft" lounge swung it on the Adria but Rapido a great van

a sub 6.5 Mtr panel van

The only ones I know with 3 rings would be british, continental vans seem to only have 2 gas rings. You could buy a steamer and perhaps reduce to 2?

The 2019 on Swift Escape 604 is nice - but not a panel van.
I'd look at the Murvi Morelo.

Rapido V55

Nice van, also the Dreamer D55+ (The 'Select' has a roof window) is another take on that. Great design unless you are tall (shower height) - but also check the Globecar Summit 640 which has the next level up for en-suite shower+toilet.

Another vote for the Rapido V55, which by an amazing coincidence I have for sale very soon (end of month). Details on the For Sale forum, get in touch if interested.

Just looking at part exchanging Autotrail Apache 700 downsizing. We have looked at a few and like the chausson V697 with single beds and front dinette

We have a Globecar Campscout (6.36m) with twin single beds but it only has a 2-ring hob. With most (all?) PVCs it's likely to be a choice of a 3 ring hob OR twin single beds, not both.

We have both :D(y)
