Thanks Mick & Sheila for a smashing rally. Nice to catch up with Funsters old and new, especially nice to welcome Jim & Siân to Gods own county and the new City of Doncaster.

Thanks to everyone who made Lynda’s big birthday such a memorable one. Special thanks to all those who prepared the lovely buffet and thanks again to Mick & Sheila for the biblical sized cake.

Thanks also to Simon for the music this evening.

Finally, we hope to see you all again in the very near future.

Ken & Lynda 👍

Just got back from a fabulous weekend. Many thanks to Sheila, Shirley and Mick for such great organisation. And to the museum staff who were so helpful and accommodating.

Lovely meeting some new people and putting faces to names. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Doncaster.

Hi Funsters

Just a short message thanking everyone who came to the meet at Doncaster Air Museum we hope that you all had a great time and enjoyed the museum which is self funded but still manage to preserve the heritage of the old planes etc to save them from the scrapyards. Heartfelt thanks go to everyone who helped from parking up vans to Barbara and Sally who saved my bacon by making sandwiches etc for the jubilee tea on Saturday, it was a double celebration as Lynda (Canopus’s better half ) celebrated her own jubilee on her 70th birthday and the presseco flowed.
So finally once again my thanks go to all of you who came and hopefully you all enjoyed all the attractions in the area including the Kaiser Chiefs whose performance could be heard at the museum.
Hope to see some of you in a field somewhere in the near future xxx thanks 😊

Sheila aka runrig and the band of helpers and of course our own axle rose SIMON
